Zachary J. Liszka
Once a victim of egregious workplace discrimination prior to law school, Mr. Liszka has made a career of defending the rights of people against the tyranny of unchecked corporate power and government corruption.
Mr. Liszka has represented hundreds of employees and consumers against top Fortune 500s, including Urban Outfitters, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Verizon and United Water/Suez International.
His pro bono experience includes assisting in litigation against the U.S. Government on behalf of Chris Hedges, Daniel Ellsberg, and Noam Chomsky for the chilling of their free speech and free association in Hedges v. Obama. He also assisted in drafting amicus in American Tradition Partnership v. Bullock, urging the U.S. Supreme Court to reconsider its holding in Citizens’ United.
In addition, he has volunteered in housing and criminal courts in New York. He is also an active member of the National Employment Lawyers Association New York chapter and the National Lawyers Guild New York chapter, where he was co-president of the student chapter at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City.
